A glimpse at our school
KAPAHAKA
We are proudly supported by Muaūpoko, Mana Whenua of Taitoko Levin. Tamariki practise weekly, and our performance rōpū participates in the annual Horowhenua Kapa Haka festival, celebrating our culture and community.
PASIFIKA
As well as celebrating Pascific Island Language Weeks, we participate in the local Jandal Jam Festivities. Our dedication shines through as we practice throughout the year, honing our Pasifika knowledge and skills.
ENVIROSCHOOLS
We are proud to be an Enviroschool, dedicated to sustainability. Our environmental education empowers students to positively impact their communities. Together, we help to create a greener tomorrow.
ARTS
We have weekly music lessons for drumming and ukelele, led by Rawiri Weihipehana. Each class is very 'art-ful', and we display tamariki art in school foyer and hall.

SPORTS
Sports are vital to student life, with many sports, including: soccer, netball, basketball teams playing in local competitions. We also offer waterpolo, and send teams to interschool competitions for athletics and swimming,
Levin North School proposed new enrolment scheme
The Ministry of Education has issued a survey to go to our community to gather feedback around the proposed update to our Enrolment Scheme.

The survey is open as of today 27 July, and closes on 1 September.
A reminder that our local Principal group has requested a community-wide meeting with the Ministry to be held on 25th August at Levin Intermediate School, so that your voice can be heard in this consultation process.
We strongly encourage you to participate in the survey and to consider the implications for our families and our school, both immediate and long term.
