What are our iClasses?

(also known as a ‘digitally enhanced classroom’)

1. ✓they are environments where ‘digital natives’ can use the

3. ✓where ICT is fully integrated into the curriculum on a
   

4. ✓full time basis.
   

5. ✓where students learn through the use of ICT equipment.
   

6. ✓and are challenged using higher order tasks.
   

7. ✓where there are authentic opportunities to create, problem solve, think
   

8. ✓critically and process information to meet research needs.
   

9. ✓the classroom fosters cooperation, self-management skills and is learner-
   

10. ✓directed.
    

11. ✓reporting to parents’ procedures are the same as for the rest of the school though we do consider that ‘electronic portfolios’ are likely to be more appropriate in the future.
